The garden: a place to relax.

This quiet space at the back of our house gets a lot of sunshine on sunny mornings, and a lot of rain at other times. It has been home to fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, strawberries, and zucchini; plants like lavender, Hydrangea (or: Hortensia), roses, and various other plants that I don’t know by name; a patch of grass; an abundance of weeds; and sometimes neighbourhood cats.

It’s a nice place to just be in and breathe for a while.

And that day with a camera. As before the pictures have been taken with a 50mm lens at an f/4 aperture on an aging Nikon D70s within a 30 minute time frame, followed by a few minor adjustments and cropping to a 1×1 format, and selecting the 10 most interesting ones. This time I decided to stick with colour, because there was so much of it.
